Through premises identification, we will gather location information for farms, ranches, leased land, feedlots, markets, and any other site that houses livestock for any period of time.
During the registration process, we will be requesting the premises address, the species of animals housed at that address, and contact information for livestock caretakers. We will not be requesting the number of animals, their identification numbers, or other information.
How to Register
There are three basic ways to register your premises in Nebraska.
When registering your premises, you will need the following pieces of information:
- Your premises’ section, township, and range.
- The GPS coordinates for your location. (While GPS coordinates are not required, they are highly encouraged. They can be obtained from your local Farm Service Agency office.)
